Happy Birthday Fatin n Ben

Salam. This is ordered by Dek Nor from Sg. Buloh for her son n niece. Actually there is a story behind these cakes. I don't know why but yesterday my choc ganache was driving me crazy. After I pour the ganache over the cakes, I left it for a while to set it down. First I did Fatin's cake n it was ok n as usual I took picture of it. But when it came to Ben's cake, the choc didn't stop dripping. I put it in the fridge n I thought it would be ok. So, I put the edible image n the Happy 3rd Birthday BEN sign n finished it up with red borders - as what Dek Nor want it to be.

We promised to meet up at Subang Parade. Luckily after the Sunway toll, I opened the box n I was surprised because the image on the cake slipped to the side of the cake. OMG! I called Dek Nor n told her what happened. So, I have to turn back home n do all the deco back! This time I used fresh cream instead of choc ganache. But before that I had to call Ariel n asked him to print another image for me. And one more time I was lucky he was at home. I can't stop myself praying to Allah that He would ease my work n alhamdulillah I managed to deliver the cakes even though I was 1 hour late.

To Dek Nor, I am very sorry n tqvm for your order! Hope your Ben was happy with his cake...

It is a 2-tier cake. Right after I finish placed all the roses on top of the cake, Intan sms me to put the "Selamat Pengantin Baru" wording on it. So sorry ye Intan, you're 25 minutes too late... ;)

Purple vs Black

Salam. This is ordered by Hidayah, UIA Gombak. First when I received her order, I was running out of idea on how to deco the blueberry cheesecake using fresh cream with purple and black theme. All I can think is to color the fresh cream. But I don't like that idea coz too much coloring will be used. Actually I already did that but i throw all the cream away back because it looks disgusting...hehehe (sendiri buat sendiri sedar xpe)
Until few more hours to deliver the cake then only I thought of using black gumpaste. Thanks to Rani too coz she also did mentioned the idea. So here it is... simple, floral with purple n black...

First is an order from Diana for her son's birthday. Request for elmo and friends. It's very easy in dealing with Diana. Tqvm Diana...



These 3 orders are for Kelly's bos, friend and cousin. She loves to give me an adhoc order. All these 3 are ordered in 1 or 2 days notice. But luckily I managed to do all those orders. However there's still couple of time I have to turn down her request...Anyway, tqvm Kelly. You are such a good friend and customer! :)

Long Time Friend

Salam. This is an order from my long time friend - Adib for his wife's (Hana) grandmother. The cuppies are for the family members whose birthday are in June and July. The design is as requsted by Hana. The cake is for Hana's grandmother who celebrate her 82nd birthday. Hana wants me to write "semoga Panjang Umur" in "Jawi" writing. Actually my writing in "Jawi" is not that good but I want to try it and see what it is look like.
